This week’s episode of PoliOptics radio on Sirius XM’s POTUS channel is a peanut butter and chocolate combination.

Our first guest, Jason Recher, is someone I’ve been working to get on the show since the day Josh King and I went on the air. Jason is one of the most respected and capable presidential advance men in the game today.  He schooled me in the arts when we worked together in the George W Bush White House and his talents are sought after to this day.  In fact, Jason’s role in the 2008 campaign is one of the most interesting topics of our discussion this week.  Jason’s insights into what works and doesn’t work in the new age of presidential campaigning are remarkable.  But make no mistake, Jason Recher is a polioptician at heart.  He is the guy you want leading the charge and to hear him discuss the topic is to understand why!

Jeff Berman

Then, Jeff Berman, the Digital Media Chief for the NFL joins the conversation.  Jeff is a guy who started in DC and then made it to the “real” big time.  Sure, he’s a Yale Law grad and former chief counsel to Sen. Chuck Schumer — but this weekend he’s ensconced in Indy for Super Bowl 46 baby!  You know those TV commercials that command “if you want the NFL, then go to the NFL?”  Well, Berman IS THE NFL.  He’s in charge of everything that’s cool, new and interactive about pro football.  Talk about brand management… this is a conversation you must  hear.
