This week, the third in our series of series shows recorded at the Aspen Ideas Festival against the glorious backdrop of Ajax Mountain in Aspen, Colorado.
On this episode, we’ve got an extended conversation with Professor Austan Goolsbee, the Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Austan is back in the Windy City following his long tour on the Obama Senate and Presidential campaigns. Goosbee is the former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors and was the youngest member of the president’s cabinet. As you’ll hear in our conversation, the trajectory that Goolsbee took into the orbit of then state Senator Barack Obama has a fascinating angle of ascent.
